If you’ve ever had a toothache, you’ll know how painful it is, and how much you wanted to find a quick cute. Imagine suffering from toothaches regularly. Knowing how to stop toothaches is useful and is sure to come in handy at some point.
Of course if you have a toothache, you should go to the dentist as soon as you can. It could cause serious problems if you don’t have it taken care of right away. No one likes the dentist, or more specifically the pain he causes in your mouth. But sometimes you have no choice.
But toothaches often seem to strike at the most inopportune moments. The middle of the night for example, or sometimes you can’t get a dentists appointment immediately. So in these case you will want a quick fix to stop tooth pain. So the following are a few home remedies you can try for toothaches.
One method that is known to help is chewing garlic or onions. Any garlic and onion will do. Just the regular ones you cook with. Not many people are aware of the many benefits of garlic and also onion. Onions and garlic are some of the primary ingredients in many home remedies.
They have anti-bacterial properties, and they fight off any bacteria you might have in and between your teeth. Obviously these don’t taste very good raw. And chewing them can give you bad breath. But if it’s a choice between a throbbing tooth or bad breath and a bad taste, I can probably guess which choice you will make. In any case you can always chew peppermint leaves to rid yourself of the bad breath effect.
When you have a toothache the pain can be so intense that you are unable to think of anything except how much your tooth is throbbing. Tooth pain is possibly one of the worst pains there is. The following are a few other things you can try if the garlic/onion remedy doesn’t appeal to you.
